1. Who we are

Say.able (“we”, “us”) is operated by Decyb Technology LLP, 4127 Palm City, Kohara, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. You can reach us at contact@say-able.com.

2. What the service is

Say.able publishes short written stories built around advanced English vocabulary, and lets you keep a personal shelf of the stories you have read. It is a self-study reading tool. It is not a course, a qualification, or a substitute for teaching, and we make no promise about the language outcomes you will achieve.

3. Accounts

Reading published stories requires no account. Keeping stories does. We create an account the first time you prove control of an email address by entering a code we send to it.

• One account per email address.
• There is no password. Anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you, so keeping that inbox secure is your responsibility.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must give an email address you control.
• You may not share, sell or transfer your account, or use it on behalf of someone else.

4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply where you are. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never receive or store your card details.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and the plan does not renew after that.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
• We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a renewal at a new price.
• If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend the paid features of your account until it succeeds. Your saved stories are not deleted because of a failed payment.

5. What you may do with the stories

The stories, and the selection and arrangement of words within them, belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription is a personal, non-transferable licence to read them and keep them on your shelf.

You may not:

• republish, sell or redistribute the stories, in whole or in part;
• use them to train or evaluate a machine-learning model;
• scrape or bulk-download the catalogue, or attempt to access content your plan does not include;
• remove or obscure any attribution or notice.

Quoting a short passage, with attribution, for teaching or review is fine.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or probe the service, use it to send unsolicited email by requesting sign-in codes for addresses that are not yours, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may take the service down for maintenance. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan offers, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current period.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and where we do so for a breach we are not obliged to refund the remaining period.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or opportunity. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell account holders by email about a change that materially affects them. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ludhiana, Punjab.
